Breathtaking.

It truly was...absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful ~
My parents live in the north Georgia mountains
and it was so good to see them!!
We left Friday afternoon around 3:00 pm
hoping to get ahead of the awful Friday afternoon traffic.
No such luck.
What should have been a 3 hour trip
turned into a 5 hours!
But it was fine, because this is what we awoke to Saturday morn....

The view behind my parent's house standing on their deck ~

We headed out early Saturday morning
so we could squeeze in as much fun as we could!
These are some of the photos I took ~
I hope you don't feel like your at the neighbor's house
looking at vacation slides!!

Do you think Heaven will look like what you love??
If so....Heaven will look like this to me ~

We went junkin' as there were tons of yard sales all
around the town of Hiawassee ~ They were
taking advantage of all the leaf-lookers that were visiting.
I found some wonderful
goodies that I'll share later on!

Beautiful Autumn Colors..... I really never thought that Georgia had the same fabulous colors of Autumn as we do in Michigan.... If I could get My kids to move from here, I would be in Georgia in a Heart Beat, I am not crazy about the long Dreary, Gray days & SNOW here. Plus, I have several of My Family who already moved to Georgia ~ Maybe, One Day ~ Fingers Crossed.

Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing. While on our way to son's football game yesterday, I was almost in awe of all the beautiful colors along the way. It seems like all the colors were just popping yesterday - at their peak! I should get out with my camera today and get some pics.

Thanks for the head's up about the classes, too. Think I might go check them out!

I believe Heaven will be too magnificent to describe in words, honey. I can't wait to see it...what am I saying...I'll wait a few more years! LOL But meeting the Savior will bring me to my knees and tears will definitely flow for what He has done for us.

Absolutely stunning landscape and view from your parent's house, sweet chick, just stunning.

Connie

Oh Dawn, your photos were just breathtaking! We just do NOT have fall color like this in Texas! Thank you for sharing it with us. And NO, it's not like looking at the neighbors pictures... silly girl!

I got my little nest & soap in the mail Saturday. HOW sweet are they!!!!!!!!! I haven't opened the package to smell it yet. You know how that is when you have a new goody you just have to savor it a day or two. Thank you for offering it & I am so glad I got one. I will probably be needing a box of them. I think a give away is looming & I could include a few don't you think? :) Hugs dear friend.
