What else can I hang from the ceiling?

I've been playing again in my studio and thought I'd try something new to hide the dark cords of my paper lanterns. My solution? Cheap and easy.....more pattern tissue!! I just cut 6 inch wide strips and doubled the length of the strip of cord I was covering. Then just stood up on the ladder and used my lovely FabriTac to glue the sandwiched edges together!! I can just rip it off when I'm tired of it ~ Oh well, at least it looks better than that dark cord :)

I hung a few umbrellas from the ceiling too ~ I saw this at The Plum Tree and loved the idea!

One more precious photo of sweet pea Clara.....it looks like she's watching something scary!!

I hope you have an amazing Monday dear friends!!
xxoo, Dawn

that looks so cute Dawn...and it made me think of something...one of the rooms at Lucketts has fabric gathered and mounted to the ceiling...it looked like some kind of drop cloth or something similar to me...go over and take a look at Heather's Leesburg post...she took a pic of it...i think you will love it just as much as i did!!!

How about some Oregon birch branches.,the kind that are soft and bendy and long,,one of our blog friends has a tree,,now who is it? Or better yet, I will make a trip home and gather it myself. Love the idea!!! There is nothing more distracting than homely cords. Great idea!!! And of course we all love the color of the old sewing patterns. Umbrellas are a great thing to hang. I have been looking for the old papery oriental ones and hope to do something with them on my daughters ceiling....Great job!!! Love Tiina....

That sweet grandbaby will love your ceiling! I keep my chandelier decorated for the seasons, just because my little one enjoys it so much.

Hello Dawn!
I just love the look of decorated ceilings, but I'm no good at hanging the hooks! (Ugh!)
What a dreamy place you have! :)
