Jumbledness and beautiful images for you ~

Wednesday I moved quite a bit more into the new space ~ I'm trying to group it as I bring it in, sewing in one area, collage/assemblage items in another and so on. It's still a mess but I'm making headway! Here are a few photos from around the room ~

See this precious doll bed? It's a perfect size for Clara to play with!! I made the bunny about fifteen years ago from a velour towel...I've washed her to get her ready for Clara too. I'm going to remove her button eyes and stitch her eyes for safety's sake. The baby doll has porcelain hands, feet and head and her fabric body is weighted ~ she's wearing my baby clothes and the sweater was knitted by my paternal grandmother.

Old doll and baby dresses ~

Yes, I have a small collection of bears ~ I can't help it, they're adorable!

One of my favorites ~ he's wearing a little blue cardigan!

On top of the refrigerator ~

Beautiful artwork made by Sandy at Quill Cottage ~

Jumbledness ~

Little clothes on little hangers ~

Still a ways to go but I'm getting there!

Some sweet images for you ~

Thank you all so much for your prayers for Emily and Clara ~ I knew you would be prayer warriors for them!! I can't believe it's Thursday again ~ the weeks seem to be flying by....and spring is approaching! I love hearing the birds sing, you can tell they're so happy it's finally here ~

Wishing you a very happy Thursday sweet friends ~

xxoo, Dawn

It's all coming along piece by piece by piece,,kinda like haveing a baby with out labor,,no, "with" labor,,,lots of it. Its hard work and alot of joy. I can just see a little Clara in the studio making treasures with Grandma, and how the creation of both of them happened at just about the same time. And how wonderful they turned out.
Congratulations again on the article in Somerset Life. It is so beautiful.
Happy Thursday Momma Bird.

I can see your work space in a spread in the new Somerset Mag. What a job! But you're a trouper.
Thinking you need to hurry, right?... All will go by the wayside as you soon cuddle your new granddaughter. Praying all goes well.

Dawn, looking at your new craft room project makes me want to drive down to your house and help you! Just looking at all of your gorgeous goodies is so inspiring. Now I want to re-do my room! I hope it gets published in the Stampington's "Where Women Create" as I'm sure it will be so neat when you are done. I feel like I know you personally just from reading your blog daily. You always have such beautiful photos and your writing leaves a peaceful, calm feeling. I can hardly wait for the Big Event, as I feel like I know Clara already too. She is a very lucky baby to have you for a grandmom. MarcyAntle

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your blog. You know Spring is fast approaching and with it comes that Spring Fever which for me means it's time for Garage Sale-ing . . . Since I haven't been able to get out too much and there aren't too many good little shops in my home town I just relax and take a stroll through your blog . . . Thank you so much . . . I feel like I've been in your room and like I'm able to touch and feel everything and the many memories that I feel when I do is incredible. THANK YOU SO MUCH! P.S. How's Elle?

It looks like the move in coming along so well. You are so sweet to still have the little bird items and to show them. I love the jars full of goodies. I so wish I had more open space to display items in. I am almost finished with my organizing and then I can do a little decorating and I hope to show my space in full soon. I can't wait to see all the inspiration that is sure to come from your move. Take care!
