My soothing sensory overloaded studio ~

I hope you can handle this ~ Remember when I said if you don't have anything to post, walk around and take photos? Well, I did. I've been cleaning up my studio recently because we did a little furniture switching around and I've just now gotten it to where I can walk into it again!

I'll be keeping my studio in this sweet little room which has served me well. I'm so very thankful for it too. Even though I'm a pack rat, it really is wonderful to have a space to call my own. You may see some of your artwork hanging around or displayed....I love having it around me ~ beautiful things are inspiring and comforting ~

A sweet image for you to have ~

Wow Dawn...I wish I could get my "pack rat" space as organized! The floors and every surface are currently covered...not conducive in promoting creative thought like your space~ {so for now I am on the dining table until I get the urge to organize the studio}

I'm embarrassed to say that I just found you, my sweet chick! Oooooh my how could I have NOT known about you?!?! Okay, your sensory overload is much similar to mine but mine isn't nearly organized since I moved out of one of my rooms into another room but it's coming along nicely. You've given me some ideas and I have an active imagination!
:-)<-----ME smiling at ya!!

Thank you for that free graphic also. I only put pretty ones on my blog........I'm a different kind of chick, I guess...

xoxo,
Connie
And nice meeting you, honey!

It's always fun to get a peek at your studio. It looks wonderful! I love the little dresses and shoes. The rabbit is great, too!

Hope that the shock of yesterday is giving way to knowing comfort even in the middle of the storm.

I love having all my things around me too. They not ony inspire me but make me happy. I'd have even more things around me if I didn't have relocating in the back of my mind!

This is so strange, I just bought a little metal ornate tin from a thrift shop, exactly like the one in the second picture down. Perhaps they are really common, but what an odd coincidence especially considering I am on the other side of the world.

Thank you for sharing & giving us a tour of your sanctuary. Mine is such a mess right now I don't even want to go in there. For a month I just buy stuff & dump it. Work is awful long hours right now. If I can keep up with the dishes & laundry I'm doing good. I miss you my friend. Your world is beautiful!

Even your craft room is beautiful. I think these pictures will inspire us all to share our space,
but not until mine is cleaned up!

Dawn, it was a joy to see your studio space! I saw many things that are so similar to some I own. The baby's "head" in the box is just like one I made years ago in a doll class, my sewing box is like yours... etc., etc.
The way you display your things gave me inspiration on what I could do with some of mine. You have an eye for beauty! Thank you for sharing.
