You just never know when you'll use that snippet of inspiration!

Seems like years ago I clipped the page below from a magazine, I can't even remember which one it came from! I looked but didn't see a name.... I loved this idea of using these precious baby planters for decorating a baby shower! Isn't it funny that then I didn't have a clue that I would be using this sweet idea for our very own grandchild's shower!!

I love lambs and being in the antiquing business, I would run across these adorable planters. I saved these as they were my favorites. I've always used them to decorate my artroom as I love to collect vintage baby items. Well, now I can actually use them for what they were originally intended.

Don't you love it when things work out like that?

A sweetie for you ~

Wishing you a very happy, warm and cozy Wednesday dear friends ~

It's getting cold down here in the south!

What a baby shower it'll be! I saved the ones I received when my children were born, but blast if they haven't been lost through the years...

Sweet images today.

When I was 5 years old I had to go in the hospital to have my appendix removed. My grandmother brought me one of those lamb planters with pansies planted in it and a ballerina book. I will never forget it. I kept it until a few years ago and one of the kids broke it. I have looked for one just like it, but havent come across it yet.

Oh, how cute they'll be. I love seeing your excitement over your fist grandchild. It takes me back to the day when my daughter was expecting her first. They're all special but there is nothing that will match the excitement over the first one. Although, having a baby grandgirl after 2 boys came pretty close. ;o)

Isn"t it wonderful when God speaks that little whisper to us to save something special and we come to the place when we need it and we find out how special it was. He knew how special it would make your shower for his little angel. Aren't we soooo glad to hear his little whispers, and kid you have a good ear, for you hear him whispering all time, saving things, sharing things, helping all of us and inspiring. We all LOVE you Dawn.
Smiles,
Pat

Hey Dawn,

I love all those old planters. It's so neat that you'll be able to use them at the shower. They'd sure make adorable table decorations or grouped for the centerpiece. I know you're having fun.

I've posted a few pretty pics on my blog and will post more by this evening of the Market. (I'm still tired)
Have a great day!

The pictures you shared were lovely, thank you! Your little lamb planters are definitely the icing on the cake, so to speak. They will be perfect for the shower and each and every one is adorable! That's great that they can be used for something so special!

(my favorite things for baby showers is to take the table where the cake will be and on either side of the cake place baby pictures and snap shots of the parents when they were little. Cover it with vinyl Clear) and it makes ya think of what features the baby will have.
Can't wait to see pics of the shower. Good luck.
