A few of my favorite things . . .

Every artist has their favorite supplies that they always keep in stock. These are my favs ~ not too expensive and believe me, I get every penny's worth
out of each and every thing.

The spray adhesive, fabric glue, hemp and pointy snips can all be found at W-mart . . . oh and the paper trimmer, rotary cutter, clear ruler and mat (not shown but I love it!) probably can be found there too!

The matte gel medium, I always get at Michael's with a coupon because it's 12.00 or so regularly, but 40% off is so much better!

I love this shade of Distress Ink but I can't find it at my Michael's and end up buying it at Hobby Lobby. It's a beautiful brown called Brushed Corduroy.

I think I found the jewelry glue at Michael's.

OH, and the deckled scissors I found at my grocery store!!! I think they were .99! But I love them and buy a pair as often as I can ~

So, there you have it. These are some of my very favorite supplies other than great old papers, buttons, lace, nests, eggs, bird images, etc.......

My little muslin bird image turned out to be a little lavender sachet with the music fabric on the back!

I can't believe it's Friday already!!! The weather's been so much cooler here in Georgia and I'm loving it! Fall is peeking around the corner ~

Wishing you a great Friday!
xxoo, Dawn

Thanks for sharing your list of favorites - and all the beauty and kindness along with the tools of your remarkable trade!

Love your banner - chickadees are a favorite birdie around here!

With the lovely weather and some morning coolness in the air, I almost wish I wasn't leaving for a whole month so I could start back on some art projects - you always inspire me when I stop by to visit!

I hope to find some pretty things in the French markets to share later - of course they have to fit in the corners of one suitcase! I may just have to leave my clothes in France in order to bring back treasures!!!

Have a fabulous weekend Dawn.
Hugs - Mary.

Dawn - I loved seeing your essential tools. Is Matte Gel like a Modpodge? The lavender sachet is really pretty - I love that there is something different and beautiful on the back.

Dawn, the new banner is just beautiful!

Thanks for showing a close-up of the craft spray. I looked at printing sheets at Joann's today and they're $10-$15 for only 3 sheets! No thank you. I'd rather make my own with the directions you kindly posted! Thank you!

The little pillow is adorable.

Oh, boy, now I am really excited. We have a new mall with several shops already open. Michael's is supposed to open soon and I can hardly wait. Maybe I'll become 'crafty' with their help, and yours! Take care.
