Snippets of inspiration ~

The three little bears are listed in my Etsy store ~ I love posing and taking pictures of them! I must be a little girl at heart! I guess you can start worrying if the next photos show me having a tea party with them!!

Today was a day lost ~ too much time at a drs visit but a check up that needed to be done. I did want to share more of my idea clippings. These inspire me still even as I share them with you!

What if you make your own little stands with vintage flatware? If you can't bend them maybe you have someone stronger around to help ~

This shoe bag is just gorgeous to me! I'm sure you Victoria magazine lovers will recognize this photo, it also graced one of the covers. I have loved it from the moment my eyes saw it. I've even created a few just because of this photo. And the not-so-obvious? The trellis hanging on the wall to hold it!! Beautiful ~

Another beautiful shoe bag but this one is made from damask. Plus it looks like it was washed first before it was cut and sewn together. Seems as though the washing does give it more texture. I love the luxe look of this one.....and being a collector of just about everything, I love it stuffed full like it is in the photo!!!

Just a few little snippets of beauty to make you smile, think and possible create!

Wishing you a very happy Tuesday ~

Hi Dawn, first thank you for the kind words on the giveaway.
I really like the shoe bag. Does damask really look that way after washing? It is beautiful. Thank you for the ideas.
Hugs,
Bonnie

i DO recognize that victorian magazine cover, i have that issue in my cupboard...i love that picture: the colors and fabric are so yummy...too cute the bent forks for display, i have been searching high and low for flower frogs the right size to use for my favorite cabinet cards, but i think i like this idea better...now i need to look for forks:) i love your bear!!!

I'm happily using the shoe bag that you mentioned once from Target. So much prettier than plastic even if it is on the inside of a closet door! That first one is wonderful and should be easily created. Hmmmm...

Have a delightfully creative Tuesday. Love those sweet little bears and have always loved children's stories featuring bears. For example: The Lonely Doll Series...http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art18827.asp

Aren't we all just little girls at heart? I love what you have done for these "little girls" - they look beautiful!

How clever you are...here I have been trying to twist wire this way and that to make "more prim" stands for some altered art post cards for the store - and all I had to do was ask you for an idea....there is always "something for everyone" tucked inside that creative mind of yours! XO Judy

So good to hear from you! You keep me inspired, especially when I'm feeling overwhelmed - thank you. Where do you get all the energy? The "dog days of summer" exhausted me, but I think I'm back! Getting published and seeing it in print lit a fire under me - finally! As usual, all your creations are just lovely, xoxo Martha

I remember both of those shoe bags from Victoria magazine. I have a damask one cut out and ready to sew, inspired by that very picture. But when will I get to finish it? Maybe September?

The bears are beautiful! I love the way you have clothed them and taken strinking pictures of them, as well. The picture holders is a favorite of mine. I have a few I have made, and no they are not always easy to bend but that's what my big strong husband is for, right? lol Anyway, the shoe holders are so pretty. My favorite is the damask, as I am a traditional girl. I loved the magazine Victoria, I am so glad it is back in production. The images are alwasy something special. Have a lovely Tuesday.
