Fairy images for you ~

And as the seasons come and go,
here's something you might like to know ~
there are fairies everywhere
under bushes, in the air,
playing games just like you play,
singing through their busy day.
So listen, touch, and look around ~
in the air and on the ground.
And if you watch all nature's things,
you might just see a fairy's wing.

I love staying up late, creating artwork and then posting here. Many nights I find myself finally wandering to bed, with a smile on my face knowing that I've made something I like and hope that you'll like too. I usually have little pieces of glue on my hands that I've missed when washing them. It's always a nice thing to wake up the next morning, pour myself a cup of coffee and discover these little bits of creative evidence. I smile and know that I must return to my studio to look again at what I made the evening before ~

Wishing you a wonderful Tuesday!
xxoo, Dawn

I've always loved the second one...I think I have that somewhere in print form. You are always so generous to share helping others with their art work.

Have a fun time creating today!

I love to stay up late and create too--hope to be able to do more in the winter,(although I know I should be starting my Christmas stuff now!)anyway, for now, I must do my part helping my husband in the antique business. Summer is our busiest time!

Dawn, I love staying up late and creating too. There is something magical about having the wee hours of the morning to yourself, while everyone sleeps. This summer my teen girls and I have been staying up late and sleeping in every morning. How delicious, and s peaking of delicious thank you for your fairy images. Karen

Dawn , sweet pics and You made me laugh -- when I painted everyday for 10 years in Ga show circuit -- my children would say _ " MOm you missed a spot on your ear -- or there is paint in your hair "- they would laugh and make me giggle too - also my holding paintbrushes as i painted with one ,the other skinny detail brush in my mouth - trying to talk - funny sweet remembrances -
now sometimes it is that glitterystuff or usually permanent ink from stamping - have to rub the skin off - lol or paint my nails LOl - Kathy - GA

Dawn, here's a really appropriate quote from Simple Abundance: "What is your hobby? Every woman ought to have some pet interest in life, outside of the everyday routine which composes her regular occupations. What is yours?" - The Mother's Magazine, January 1915
True then, true now! And so blessed are we who create! And make creative friends on lovely blogs!

Dawn, Thank you so much for the beautiful images. They are three favorites of mine.

I've been visiting a site that has a book of Arthur Rackham Art. It's on my short list of things I must have! They have a few books of fairies there.

I have a few royalty free images that I want to share now and then. I posted a couple, but when I click on them the image does not enlarge. Earlier images I posted do. I can't find an answer... can you help?

Hi Dawn, thanks again for the beautiful images. So thoughtful. I often wonder what makes people either night owls or early birds. I'm with you, I find myself staying very late.
Hugs,

Hello Dawn, It is a real joy visiting your blog and I really love your creations. Thank you for sharing the beautiful images as well. You mentioned we could ask if we would like to see a tutorial on a special work of art you have created. I really would love to know how to create a beautiful journal or composition book as you have done back in your July 16 post. I will be watching with interest and thank you for sharing:)

How nice of you! Wow I really love the middle one! I'm saving it just to look at it. I'm not sure I could actually do anything creative with it but I love it just the way it is!
