Sweet beachy mail love ~

When I receive mail from Sandy at Quill Cottage, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, it is going to be SPECIAL! This is what came in the mail for me.....the most wonderful decorated box filled with treasures from the sea!!! Little grains of sand would occasionally spill out as I was unwrapping this beautiful gift. GIFT is what I said.

Sandy knew that I had an idea to create an assemblage in a box or drawer using wonderful beach items, gifts from the sea, and she emailed to let me know that she had a collection to send me! What a generous spirit! So not only does she want to send me a little parcel of beach type items, she sends them with such style and finesse!!!!

As I opened the beautiful box, there peeking out from inside were shells, driftwood, bottles adorned with notes and shell pendants plus beautiful color copies from Sandy's collection. Copies that she knew would be perfect for my artwork!! What is so special about this gift, is that she has packaged up each little shell collection in netting and with it's own tag stating where they came from!

Sandy, you never cease to amaze me. Your generosity, your kindness and pure goodness. Thank you so very much for all of these gorgeous treasures. I can only hope that the artwork I create with these will be deserving of your gift!!!

It makes such a nice display collection! I can picture the collectibles in one of those glass coffee table display cases.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for the link to your store and the people who sponsor the site - I sent it to my daughter-in-law who makes the lovely jewelry.
