New art for The Plum Tree ~

I've had this idea in my mind for awhile now and finally have been able to get started on this little project. Well, it's not really little . . . it is the bottom half of an old window!

Remember when I told you about printing on neat old papers, sheet music and such, through your computer's printer? This is what I've done here. I've trimmed these pieces of music just small enough to be able to fit into the paper feed and printed different botanical egg and bird related art onto them! Cool, huh? They will be behind the glass though so as to look as if they are mounted into an elaborate frame. My room at The Plum Tree is going have a nature/bird theme and feel to it, so this should start it off right.

I love the charm of this old window and the natural feel that the wood gives in combination with the prints. I'll be sure to take a photo of it when I'm finished ~ wishing you all a wonderful day,

xxoo, Dawn

I love your pictures...coordinating pictures with specific songs would be fun.

Do you have a special kind of color printer? We just have a laser black/white printer and the color printer we previously had was a piece of junk.

Any recommendations for a color printer???

Dawn,
I love your prints on the music score! I printed Christmas To/From tags on music last year and just had a blast! I've also printed banner/garland rounds on music, too. Your birds/nest/eggs just "pop" on that music! I love it!

I got some music sheets for Christmas to do some crafting with so I will definitely give printing on them a try... think I might need to upgrade my printer though!

I love this stuff, eggs and nest on old music paper. Old windows are the best canvas for art aren't they?

Just like "Curious Sofa" did last year, but even better, because yours is with music! My favorite. Like the background shows the songs the birds are singing! Tweet, tweet!

What a great idea - so creative! I don't have a colour printer, just a laser black and white one. But someday...
I love using old music sheets - I have books of them from years and years of piano lessons.
