It was a great day for a field trip!

Well, this afternoon we all jumped in the car and headed to Atlanta! I was finally going to get to see Paris on Ponce ~
a wonderful antique/eclectic/all-kinds-of-good-stuff shop. When I say shop, that makes it sound small
and small it is not!

I tried to take plenty of photos for you to get an idea of what they have to offer. I've seen the store mentioned in magazines and my husband has stopped in before. But I've just never been able to go until today.

It truly is an incredible store, a lot of newer furniture blended with antique furniture, antique accessories mixed in with new as well. The atmosphere was wonderful. I didn't buy much to speak of, as I look for items that are priced for me to resell. The prices were quite good if I were buying for my own home though. I did find a few old photos for artwork that I want to share with you later! Click on the photos to enlarge so you can get an idea of what they have:

I love this dress form!

I should have bought this one, only 45.00!

The picture is quite dark but don't you just love these cabinets? I would love to have one to keep my thread in!

Look at the garden section and the light pouring down from above!

And this was just incredible. A wonderful mannequin, dressed as a Winter Queen!!!

Well, I hope you've enjoyed the field trip through Paris on Ponce. I have few photos I'll show tomorrow on a different post from the beautiful Oakland Cemetery we visited today, too!

That is not a shop, it is an Aladdin's Cave of treasures!
