Traditional Home ~ Inspiration Wednesday?

I have to admit, I am an avid magazine junkie. I love them. How much money have I spent on them in my life? I DON'T want to know. But if that's my vice then so be it.

But on to my post. A sweet friend, Emily, of The Plum Tree stopped in today and we always talk about decorating and antiques and such. She asked me if I had bought the current issue of Traditional Home magazine. Well, I used to buy it regularly but have been more selective lately as their take on "traditional" was sometimes not so traditional in my book. But she said they are featuring an Atlanta shop owner's house that is beautiful. Well, of course I had to go take a look. OH MY.

I'm including a few of the photos of the tour of this magnificent home but go and take a look at Camp Boxwoods in Atlanta . . . absolutely gorgeous!

I have piles and piles of my old magazines collected through I don't know how many years, at our cabin. There I can look in them for hours :-)

I love Traditonal Home. My husband renovated historical homes in Charleston, SC and two of his houses/projects were featured in the magazine. I only get it at the supermarket when I see something I like on the cover. I think your fairy is going to be precious! Love, Jamie

I have a weakness for magazines also. My husband doesn't get it. He likes guns though...redneck!! I would love to come visit your shop one day. I'm only an hour or so away from you, I think. Love your blog! Elise

Thanks for stopping by. I don't know what it is about late nights but I like the peace and no distractions. My back is better, thanks. It's just one of those pesky things.

I'm a junkie too Dawn; I've probably spent enough to take a vacation with, but oh well, I'm hooked to them. Have a good week!
